Terms and Conditions

The website www.grandhotelorient.ro is a commercial website, owned by SC ORIENT COMPANY SRL, which allows making room reservations at the hotel owned by ORIENT COMPANY SRL.

Use, including visiting and purchasing tourist services from the www.grandhotelorient.ro site, implies acceptance of the terms and conditions detailed in the following paragraphs:

Our desire is to offer you an unforgettable experience within the ORIENT HOTELIER GROUP, establishing a series of rules that we respectfully ask you to take into account.

Use of our Services
Thank you for using our products and services (“Services”). The services are provided by ORIENT COMPANY SRL, based in the Municipality of Brăila, Rubinelor Street no. 1, Brăila County, Romania. By using our Services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Our Services are varied and therefore additional Terms and Conditions or additional product requirements (including age requirements) may sometimes apply. For certain Services, there are additional Terms and Conditions, and if you use those Services, those additional Terms and Conditions are part of the contract between you and ORIENT COMPANY SRL.

You must comply with all policies made available on the Services
Do not misuse the Services. For example, do not try to influence the Services or access them in any other way than through the interface and through the instructions provided by ORIENT COMPANY SRL through the grandhotelorient.ro website. You may use the Services only in accordance with the law, including applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations. We may suspend or stop providing the Services to you if you fail to comply with our Terms and Conditions or our policies or if we investigate suspected misconduct.

Your use of the Services does not give you any intellectual property rights in them or in the content you access. You may not use the content within our Services unless you obtain express written permission from the owner of the content or are permitted to do so by law. These Terms and Conditions do not grant you the right to use any brand or logo within the Services. Do not remove, obscure or modify any legal notice displayed within or in conjunction with the Services.

Our services display certain content that does not belong to ORIENT COMPANY SRL. Responsibility for this content rests solely with the entity that makes it available. We may review content to determine whether it is illegal or violates our policies, and we may remove or refuse to display content that we reasonably believe violates our policies or the law. But this does not necessarily mean that we review the content; therefore, do not assume that we are examining it.

In connection with your use of the Services, we may send you service announcements, administrative messages and other information. You may opt out of some of these communications.

Some of our Services are available on mobile devices. Do not use these Services in a way that distracts you and prevents you from complying with traffic and safety laws.

Check-in and check-out
Check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. and rooms are checked out by 12:00 p.m.

At the customer’s request and when the hotel has available spaces, special rates may be applied according to international practice for staying in the room after 12:00 p.m. as follows: for staying until 11:00 p.m., 100% of the displayed rate for the reserved room will be charged.

Luggage can be stored in the luggage room free of charge for 24 hours.

Accommodation
Each person’s accommodation is done by filling in the arrival notification form based on the identity card or passport. It is possible to opt for filling out the accommodation form electronically in advance.

Accommodation for children up to the age of 5 will be free, for children over the age of 5 the normal rate will be charged.

Cancellation of booking
Any cancellation of the reservation will be done by contacting the reservations service or by contacting us using the phone numbers in the Contact section displayed on the website.

No penalties will be applied if the cancellation of the reservation (booking up to 5 rooms) is made at least 48 hours before. The penalty is the value of the first day of accommodation.

If it is a reservation of 5 or more rooms, then its cancellation will be made at least 10 days before the arrival date.

For group reservations (minimum 5 rooms), please contact the reservations service.

Breakfast program
Breakfast is served daily between 07:00 and 10:30.

Smoking
Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel premises. The hotel reserves the right to evict customers who do not comply with this obligation and to cancel their reservation.

Safety of personal property
The hotel and public spaces are monitored by video system.
Customers are obliged to ask the Hotel to keep their valuables (documents, money, electronic equipment or other such valuables).

The hotel does not assume responsibility for forgotten, lost or allegedly stolen items in the hotel, restaurant and parking lot.

The hotel does not assume responsibility for any accidents or traumas that may occur as a result of inappropriate use of the facilities within the hotel or the restaurant.

Visitor access
Customers can receive visitors in their hotel rooms between 08:00 and 20:00 at no extra charge. If customers receive visitors between 20:00 and 08:00, the latter will have to pay the difference in the rate and register at the reception.
